Use this as a conversation starter with your Realtor. Not every task fits every home; decide together what makes sense.

Plan first

• Discuss timing, goals, and showing needs.
• Ask which repairs or updates are worth evaluating.
• Gather service records, warranties, and appliance information you have.

Make spaces feel cared for

• Clear walkways and entry areas.
• Put away personal items and reduce visible clutter where practical.
• Clean surfaces, windows, and high-touch areas.
• Replace burnt-out bulbs and check easy-to-see fixtures.
• Freshen outdoor entry areas and remove loose debris.

Before photography or showings

• Confirm the photography and showing plan with your Realtor.
• Secure valuables, medications, personal documents, and pets.
• Set a routine for lights, temperature, and leaving the home.
• Ask how to handle scheduling changes or questions.
